Surgical Needles
Our extensive production range includes surgical needles for all medical applications. Our surgical needles are produced either from nickel plated carbon steel or stainless steel with regular eye or spring eye in a multiplicity of various diameters, lengths, cross sections and forms. Due to the reusability of our non-sterile surgical needles, they conserve resources and are therefore particularly sustainable.
In addition to our standard program we offer special forms and the possibility of special production according to customer´s requests.
Our surgical needles are available in different packing units:
- Non-sterile (pack per dozen)
- Sterile (2x12 pieces)
- Bulk

We offer special forms and custom products according to customer´s requests for medical and technical applications of different materials.
We manufacture different:
- Needle diameters from 0,30 mm - 2,20 mm
- Lengths from 10 mm - 140 mm
- Single and multiple curvatures
- Needle and tip forms
Also individual packaging (Private Label) is possible.
Overview of recommendations for suture diameters for spring eye needles
The usage of sutures not according to our recommendations, i.e. material too strong, can lead to a damage of the needle eye.
The usage of suture thinner by one size is possible in general. Kindly note that ACUFIRM spring eye needles are not recommended for sutures size USP 5/0 or smaller.
